0:05 – Introduction
Hi I’m Jason from the brand Blockout Blinds, and today I’m going to show you another final build.

0:15 – New Blinds in a New Home
This is going to be a short one today, but we’ve just put some blinds up a couple of weeks ago in a lovely new home. A brand new build quiet often I show a before and after because we’re looking at all blinds replacing with new. With this one is just straight up new blinds because it’s a brand new home.

0:32 – Why have matching pelmets?
You can see the big sliding doors and what we’ve done we’ve put a roller blind on this door and we’ve covered the roller blind with a Pelmet. Now the pelmet doesn’t have a roof on it, it’s purely for aesthetics and it’s a dark roller blind. A lot of our clients sort of wanting to go down the track of getting white coloured roller blinds to match the walls. But generally it’s a good rule to go a lot darker so it breaks up the room a little bit, you don’t just have one big mass of white as you can see here.

1:06 – Dark screened Roller Blinds
And let’s have a look on the next room and in here you could see three roller blinds, we’ve put a dark-screened roller in the recess. We put the same fabric as the previous door on the face and once again we have the valance.

1:19 – Black screens over white screens
Around the top just covering that roller blind up and making it look a little bit more modern, a bit neater and classier I think as well. So I think it looks fantastic; you got the best of both worlds, privacy when you needed the screens. And as you can see; because they are black screen, it’s quite easy to see out. If it’s a white screen it’s a little bit harder to see through.

1:40 – What do valances look like?
And this last photo here, we just have a close up of those valances, and you can see the valance is actually made of aluminium so it’s quite good quality and we’ve wrapped it around with the same fabric that the blind is made of to give it that perfect matching finish.

So there you go, that’s a completed job we’ve done recently. We think it looks fantastic; the client needs it to look fantastic.

Hopefully, you think it looks fantastic too. So I hope you found that useful and until next time.
