Hi I’m Jason from the brand Blockout Blinds and today I’m going to show you how good a Motorised Cassette Roller Blind can be in the bedroom.
So of course a bedroom; sometimes a criteria is you want to keep the room dark.
We had this client — look at this first photo — they had some Roman Blinds and they have been up for quite a while. And while they’re okay, they’re a bit tired and weathered. And it was time to upgrade. And one of the criteria was try and keep the room a bit darker than a normal blind.
So have a look at this next photo — what you’ll see is we have a cassette blind and it has a cassette over the top of the roller blind and channels at the side which is designed to minimise the light coming through the side.
It doesn’t blockout 100% of the light but it does a fairly good job at blocking out most of the light and it definitely blocks out a lot more light than pretty much any other blind. This client had about 4 or 5 of these blinds and put them all through the bedrooms.
However for the master bedroom, they’ve decided to have a motorised blind because they won’t just be able to wake up, press the button, and the blind comes up or goes down. If you’ll at this next photo; there’s a picture of the remote controller for the cassette blind.
And…well I could talk about it and try and explain it to you. But rather than that, let’s watch a little video here of the blind going up and down during the day and just seeing how much light gets blocked out.
So check out this video here… a cassette roller blind program with an automate motor, which looks more like an iPad. Here we go down and this is how much dark the room gets.
You can see the remote is indicating it’s going down, hard to see…
Watch out…hard to focus now because the light disappearing…
…Alright…up…how good is that?!
Camera’s back in focus…and it starts automatically at the top.
So there you have it, the cassette roller blind for your bed room to keep the light out. Can be motorised or can be manual.
I hope you found this exciting, and until next time.
