Hi, I’m Jason from the brand Blockout Blinds; I hope you’re having a great day.
Today I’m here to show you a situation where we’ve created ‘The Ultimate Enclosure’.
0:20 – Want to make your patio more usable all year round?
These days we’re all about the indoor/outdoor living the patio, the pergola, hitting outdoor lounge settings and barbeques and the like, which is fantastic!
But we don’t get to utilize our pergolas as much when we don’t have them enclosed because it’s either too hot, too windy, or it’s raining. So that’s where the ZipTrak blind comes in fantastic because it can make your outdoor pergola or patio area usable all year round which is fantastic so you’re going to get more bang for your buck by having Ziptraks. So I’ve got an example here; let’s have a look at this first photo…
1:03 – What do the ZipTraks look like in an open outdoor area?
So here you can see the guys hard at work, they’re actually about 3 quarters of the way of installing Ziptraks is this beautiful outdoor area. You can see the customer has the lounge there and the tables. And there’s 3 Ziptraks in this scene. Ziptraks obviously slide up and down, and in this case, we have colored coordinated them to match in with the beams of the patio.
So let’s have a look at this next photo where we’ve got some finishing touches happening here.
You can see the left and the right blinds are down and the blind in the middle is in the up position. And this person is lucky enough to be living at the back of a golf course! So I wish I could do that… so that’s absolutely fantastic.
We can see here that they have the clear PVC, and you’ll see those lines going up and down on the left and the right of each blind — well that’s where the PVC joins; because we are limited to a certain width of PVC before we have to put a joining which everyone has to do.
2:08 – Can Ziptraks look good in a corner join?
And in this last photo here you can see the 2 blinds coming into the corner. And you could see what we’ve done if you look on the bottom of the post, the post has sort of like an architrave going around the bottom, and we have cut out the track to fit seamlessly around that so there’s no gaps and it looks like an absolutely beautifully professionally done job. A lot of times we also have to have the track on the inside of the beams as opposed to the front because it then gives you a clear access to the clips on the bottom which you use to open and shut the blinds. And I think you’ll all agree look it’s not quite finished there, they haven’t put the pelmets on…. but looking absolutely fantastic.
2:53 – What are the benefits of having ZipTraks installed?
So this client can now sit outside. If it’s windy, I can put it down and there’s no wind breaking.
You can sit outside, if it’s raining, no rain is going to come in. Of course in the morning now, if it’s a bit cold, they would never dare sit out there. But now with the Ziptraks down they can put the indoor heater on and it keeps nice and warm. So they’re using their room all year round.
Maybe, you might benefit from Ziptraks as well? I don’t know, only you can answer that question.
So I hope you found this interesting, and until next time.
